Duration - One week, full time

Over one week, guided all the way, you will take some slithers of timber and turn them into components of a 'backpack' style travel guitar. Steel string or nylon string, you choose. No previous wood working experience or knowledge is required, a maximum of three students per course means you have plenty of
individual time learning directly from our experienced tutor.

From reading the plans, through shaping the timber and assembling the components, all the way to leveling the frets, adjusting the neck relief and setting the intonation, this course will teach you the fundamentals of building a steel or nylon-stringed acoustic instrument.
